LIDS Partners with MLB on Season-Opening Promotion

LIDS Sports Group, Indianapolis, has partnered with Major League Baseball (MLB), New York, to offer customized MLB hats purchased at LIDS during the opening week of the 2015 baseball season.

If fans spend $30 or more on MLB-licensed headwear, they can add free custom embroidery through April 9. Embroidery options include names, messages and signatures.

This is the first promotional partnership for MLB and LIDS, and it is available in any of the more than 800 North American LIDS stores where custom embroidery is offered.

“Baseball fans have come to rely on LIDS as their destination for baseball hats and we are the only national retailer that offers the option of custom embroidery,” says Ken Kocher, president of LIDS Sports Group. “This promotion aligns perfectly with our position as a leading omni-commerce retailer that provides hats and apparel of any team, anytime, anywhere.”
