Manchester City Selects Fermata as North American Licencsing Agency

Fermata Partners, Atlanta, has been selected by Manchester City Football Club (MCFC), a top English soccer team, to be its licensing agency for North America.

Fermata has already secured top English soccer clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool FC, among others. The firm will cultivate MCFC’s consumer products business through partnerships with manufacturers and retailers.

“As Manchester City’s profile grows across North America, we are delighted to be working with Fermata Partners to ensure that our growing fan base can access high quality Manchester City merchandise across the region,” says Serena Gosling, director of retail and licensing for City Football Marketing, in a statement. “We have been regular visitors to North America in the past few years, including our first team’s post-season Tour of Canada and the US, and we have been seeing high demand for Manchester City products, which we are confident Fermata will help us to meet.”

Manchester City has won two Premier League titles since 2011 and has become a regular participator in the UEFA Champions League, making it Fermata’s most successful current soccer club.
