Grammy-winning recording artist Drake wore a version of the Toronto Raptors’ new uniforms during a concert Monday night, effectively debuting the new design, according to The Associated Press.

Drake, who collaborated with the team on the new look and is widely known as the Raptors’ global ambassador, wore a black-and-gold version of the jersey while performing the finale of his OVOFest concert in Toronto.

The home, away and away alternate designs feature a new font called “We The Letters,” inspired by the team’s “We The North” campaign. The jerseys still feature chevron design elements, but they are smaller and point upward. At the bottom of the jerseys, a tag of the “We The North” slogan is printed upside down so that it can be read by players when they look downward. “Raptors” is now embellished across the front chest, a change from the previous version that had “Toronto” in the same placement. Player names now are arched on the back instead of being placed straight across.

The shorts feature a maple leaf, Toronto’s symbol, incorporated in the waistband, and “T.O.” stitched on the side, with the “O” being Toronto’s new logo, a stylized basketball with a dinosaur claw on one side.

The Raptors still will wear white with red trim at home games and red with black trim on the road. The away-game alternates feature black and gold, and black and red.
